Ðǿմ«Ã½ ELI offers a variety of options to meet with our Admission team and experience our campuses. From private meetings with an admission advisor to information sessions with live campus tours and walking tours.

The English Language Institute also offers English and Academic support services to students, including one-on-one tutoring sessions and Conversation Groups.

Conversation Groups for International Students

Are you looking for a fresh set of eyes or advice to get you started on your research paper? We can help you plan, draft, revise, and edit your writing. Our collaborative process is designed to help you refine your work for submission and build your skills for the next assignment.

Ice Skating

Every Tuesday night from 3:00 p.m. at the ice rink on The Rooftop at Pier 17. Get ready to take in the unbeatable city views and enjoy skating for just $10 (including rentals) with your Ðǿմ«Ã½ID! Plus, indulge in a $5 cup of hot chocolate!

Weekly Wellness Walk (Pleasantville Campus)

Weather permitting, we will walk the scenic pond path outside the library and beyond; on icy or rainy days, we will meet at the vestibule and walk over to the Goldstein indoor track.

Guided Meditation

Join us for a weekly guided meditation with an opportunity for community, connection, and a brief discussion!

Stress-Buster Yoga with Pisa

Join the Ðǿմ«Ã½Indian Student Association for a special Yoga Workshop in collaboration with the Consulate General of India, New York! Experience the art of mindfulness, movement, and balance as we explore traditional yoga practices guided by expert instructors. This workshop is designed for all levels — whether you're a seasoned practitioner or a beginner looking to learn. Together, we’ll celebrate yoga’s deep roots in Indian culture and its powerful impact on physical and mental well-being.

Come dressed comfortably and bring a yoga mat if you have one! This is a wonderful opportunity to deepen your practice, connect with your peers, and honor the enduring traditions of India. All Ðǿմ«Ã½students are welcome!

Birding for Beginners (Pleasantville Campus)

Join Conservation Center Manager Jacob Reiter for a morning all about birds! This event welcomes bird watchers of all ages and skill levels to Ðǿմ«Ã½'s Suburban Biodiversity Conservation Center (formerly Nature Center) to learn the techniques associated with birdwatching. Come observe the bounty of species in the Conservation Center during the height of spring migration!

Join the Ðǿմ«Ã½ community for a fun night at Citi Field as the New York Mets take on the Atlanta Braves on Tuesday, June 25 at 7:10 p.m. This exciting division rivalry game is open to all Ðǿմ«Ã½students, faculty, staff, and alumni—everyone is welcome! A portion of every ticket purchased will go back to Ðǿմ«Ã½to support current students, so come out, show your Ðǿմ«Ã½pride, and enjoy a night of baseball for a great cause.

Join the Ðǿմ«Ã½Team for the Susan G. Komen "Race" (Walk) for the Cure!

Join Ðǿմ«Ã½for our 35th year of participating in the Annual Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure on Sunday, September 7 in Central Park, NYC. Ðǿմ«Ã½has proudly held the title of the largest college/university team at the Race for the Cure for the past 3 ½ decades thanks to our fearless Leader, Professor Emeritus, Dr. Ellen Mandel! Join us to keep this tradition on Race Day Note…this is a race for the actual cure…not an actual race; It’s a group walk!!! If you can’t attend in person, youcan still register and donate to support the cause! Every step, every voice, and every contribution matters.
