The Elisabeth Haub School of Law at �ǿմ�ý has conferred the 2020–2021 Elisabeth Haub Award for Environmental Law and Diplomacy on Ugandan climate justice advocate Vanessa Nakate and Professor Wang Xi, an environmental law scholar and advocate with Kunming University of Science and Technology in China.

�ǿմ�ý is adding an advanced degree to its offerings --- a new doctoral program in School Psychology on its New York City campus. The Department of Psychology launched the program this fall, in part, to meet the growing demand for school psychologists.

The Elisabeth Haub School of Law at �ǿմ�ý has received a generous five-year grant to name its Investor Rights Clinic after RealFi Financial LLC, a leading, technology-driven, alternative investment management firm.

�ǿմ�ý’s Actors Studio Drama School (ASDS) Master of Fine Arts Program today announced the return of its emblematic Repertory Season featuring the acting, directing, and playwriting Class of 2020 with five consecutive weeks of live performances, beginning October 20, 2021.

The �ǿմ�ý Art Gallery opened the in-person exhibition, “Substance,” on September 27, 2021 which will run through October 30, 2021. The gallery is located at 41 Park Row with the entrance on Spruce Street, across from City Hall in Lower Manhattan. The exhibition brings together four abstract artists—Diego Anaya, Liz Atz, Linda Ekstrom, and Alberto Lule—who express meaning via their materials rather than through representational imagery.

The Global Center for Environmental Legal Studies (GCELS) at the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at �ǿմ�ý successfully submitted and advocated for the adoption of groundbreaking motions to strengthen human rights and environmental protections at the International Union for the Conservation of Nature (IUCN) World Conservation Congress, which took place in Marseille, France from September 3 to September 11, 2021. Haub Law is one of only two law schools in the United States that is a voting member of the IUCN. Decisions made at the conference have wide-reaching implications for environmental law and policy around the globe.

NEW YORK & PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. (September 15, 2021) -- A majority of businesses surveyed in New York City, Westchester, and Long Island say they will be stronger after the pandemic, and half of respondents reported being optimistic about the future of business in New York, according to a recently released �ǿմ�ýBusiness Poll.

�ǿմ�ý’s Seidenberg School of CSIS has been awarded a $3.8 million grant from the National Science Foundation to recruit and train cybersecurity professionals.
