I came to ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½because it is in a perfect location to study the environment! As an Environmental Studies major, there are so many resources available to me on campus, such as the Nature Center, Choate Pond, and the Environmental Lab, as well as supportive staff and faculty at the Dyson College of Arts and Sciences. My faculty advisor, Angelo Spillo, has provided me with so many fantastic ideas as to how I may get involved, and Professor Rubbo has opened doors to my internship and has certainly set me on the right track for success. At the Greenburgh Nature Center, I work with animal care in the live animal museum and, as a part of my duties, help educate children who visit. After graduation, I plan on furthering my education and going to graduate school, with the goal of working in environmental consultancy or education.
For the sixth time since 2014, ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½â€™s Economics students have claimed the national title at the College Federal Reserve Challenge—continuing a legacy of excellence built on rigorous preparation, teamwork, and real-world economic analysis.
For Psychology major and Honors College student Marina Alberto ’28, ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½is where passion meets purpose. Through hands-on research on child development, meaningful faculty mentorship, and leadership in the Psi Chi club, she’s exploring how children learn, and how ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½helps students grow.
